# Main Windows

There are three types of main windows in NeuTu:

* **Home Window**: The foremost window of the application. It is mainly used to launch a new proofreading window.
* **Proofreading Window**: Each proofreading corresponds to one proofreading session. The main view shows proofreading data slice by slice on the XY plane.
* **3D Window**: 3D windows are usually launched from the proofreading window to show proofreading data in 3D visualization.
